Is Costa Rica safe?

Answer

Yes! It's a beautiful, rich country with kind people and tons of nature. Your biggest threat will be bug bites. Bring bug spray and TONS of sunscreen!

How's the weather?

Answer

Tamarindo is usually the dry part of CR, but when it rains, it pours! We hope to God it doesn't rain on our day, but it's unpredictable. Please bring an umbrella with you on your trip. Bonus if you bring it to the wedding too!

Is the water okay to drink?

Answer

CR follows a very similar practice to the US and the water is perfectly safe to drink.

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

It's super easy to get around on foot or Ubers. You can absolutely rent a car, but Ubers are MUCH more inexpensive than in the US. Of course you'll need Wi-Fi or turn on data.

Will my electronics work?

Answer

Yup! CR has the same outlets and voltage as the US. Your chargers and hair tools will work!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. We love you guys and consider your attendance a gift. If you would like to give us something additional, we are requesting a cash contribution to our newly-weds or honeymoon fund.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love kids and wish we could invite them, but unfortunately our venue cannot accommodate small children. We hope to have a fun night with just you guys. We hope you understand!
