When should I RSVP by? Hasta qué fecha tengo para registrarme?

Answer

Please do it as soon as possible, the latest date by May 1st so that we are able to have a final head count. Por favor registrarse lo más pronto posible, a mas tardar el 1ro de Mayo para poder tener una cuenta final.

Is there a dress code / color palette? Hay código de vestidos / paleta de colores?

Answer

Formal dresses and suits, keeping in mind that Bogotá can get chilly! You can wear any color (except for white obviously!), but if you want to know, the wedding color palette is all over this website. Dark blue, silvers, golds...basically dark colors and metallics. Ropa y vestidos formales, recuerden que puede llegar a hacer frío! Pueden ponerse cualquier color (excepto obviamente el blanco!), pero si quieren guiarse por los colores de la boda, están por toda ésta página. Azul oscuro, plateados, dorados...básicamente colores oscuros y metálicos.

What's the weather like in Bogotá in July?

Answer

We do not have seasons like in the northern States. Year round, the weather in Bogota can range anywhere from the high 60s during the day (if sunny), to the low 40s at night. It can also be rainy with about a 50/50 chance, so plan for that. It is a city in high altitude, which could affect some people. Expect shortness of breath sometimes while walking for long. But personally, we have not heard of anyone getting altitude sickness in Bogotá, as some people may experience in places such as Cusco or Machu Pichu

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? Hay transporte para la ceremonia?

Answer

Let us know if you need transportation to the venue. We will have buses take guests from a designated meeting point up to the venue, but you will have to be very punctual (details of when/where will be shared closer to the date). You can also use rideshare apps to the venue if preferred. If renting a car, there is also plenty of parking at the site. PLEASE CONFIRM WITH US IF YOU WILL NEED TRANSPORTATION, if you do not, you will not have a spot in the bus. Déjanos saber si necesitan transporte a la locación de la boda. Vamos a tener buses para llevar a todos los invitados desde un punto de encuentro, pero deben ser muy puntuales (detalles de cuándo/dónde van a ser compartidos mas cerca a la fecha). También pueden usar transporte por aplicación si prefieren. Si rentan carro o tienen uno personal, hay más que suficiente espacio para estacionar. POR FAVOR CONFIRMAR CON NOSOTROS SI NECESITA TRANSPORTE, si no nos confirman, no van a tener puesto en el bus.

Can I take pictures? Puedo tomar fotos?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony, please be respectful of everyone and let them enjoy the ceremony without interruptions. You can take all the pictures during the party.

Can I bring another person? Puedo traer a alguién más?

Answer

When you search your name in the RSVP link, everyone in your party will show up. If there is not any extras, please understand that the space is limited. When closer to the final count if we end up having extra space, we will let you know. Cuando busquen su nombre en el enlace del RSVP, todos los de su grupo aparecerán. Si no tienes mas extras, por favor entiendan que el espacio es limitado. Cuando sea mas cerca de la cuenta final y si tenemos espacios extras, les dejaremos saber.
