I first met Rysheen when I was a sophomore in college. I was transferring into a new university, trying to adjust, and looking for a job. I remember walking into her office for an interview at one of her first nursing facilities. I was hesitant and scared, she immediately laughed, looked at me, and said "what are you nervous for?" She made me feel comfortable within minutes with her humorist personality and offered me my first nursing job. Originally she started off as my supervisor. Growing closer over the years, I view her more as a sister to me.
