Captain Whidbey

2072 West Capt Whidbey Inn Road
Coupeville, WA 98239

Captain Whidbey sits nestled among old growth fir trees on the shores of Penn’s Cove, built from hundred year old madrona logs in 1907. To this day, the original layout is preserved, along with the original rooms and details. All weekend events will take place at Captain Whidbey, and we've reserved the entire hotel for our event. Upon your RSVP, please send us a text or email (rylie.munn@gmail.com) if you'd like us to reserve a room for you there. We will then reach out to confirm your room selection, and the inn will provide you with a payment link to reserve. Please note that our rooms may fill up and we may ask you to stay offsite. Here are the two CW room rates: Historic Lodge: $339/night Lagoon Rooms: $479/night Check out the website for details about both options!

Flight

SeaTac Airport

Please be aware that Captain Whidbey is about 2 hours from the SeaTac airport (including the 20min ferry ride). It could be difficult to get off-island quickly in the wee hours of the night and morning. Our recommendation is to plan your flights mid-day if possible! Additionally, if you plan to use the Whidbey Island Shuttle service, consider their bus schedule below:

Travel Note

Whidbey Island Shuttle Company

If you would prefer to take a shuttle instead of renting a car, we would recommend booking a seat on a Whidbey Island Shuttle. This shuttle departs every hour and a half from SeaTac, with stops all along Whidbey Island. You will need to book the following route: SeaTac - Coupeville Please let us know if you choose to book this route, as we will need to send someone to pick you up at the Coupeville bus stop on Whidbey Island. It's a very short drive from Captain Whidbey, but there are no sidewalks for walking.

There are two ways to get to Whidbey Island: 1. Via Washington State Ferry (the shorter route) The ferry between Clinton on Whidbey Island and Mukilteo on the mainland runs from 5:30 a.m. until after midnight. The schedule varies depending on the time of year. Two boats sail the route in the busy season. Reservations are strongly recommended. 2. Via Deception Pass Bridge (the longer route) From Seattle - Tacoma and Points South: Drive north from Seattle on Interstate 5 and take exit 226.
