Meet my Maid of Honor, Nicole — my best friend since the very first day of swim team tryouts in the 7th grade. From the start, she somehow decided to give me a chance (even though I came on strong), and from that moment on, she was stuck with me for life. People often think we’re sisters — we’re not — but we do look alike (or people tell us we do.) Over the years, we’ve confused our dads, stayed up far too late on the phone planning our futures, and even lived together in Southie with pink walls and plenty of cheap wine. Nicole is the kind of friend everyone hopes to have: kind, smart, incredibly loyal, and always the most responsible person in the room. She’s the Monica to my Rachel, the calm to my chaos, and the person I can count on no matter what stage of life we’re in. From high school dreams to adulthood adventures, Nicole has been by my side through it all, and I couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without her standing next to me. I’m so lucky to have her as my Maid of Honor — and even luckier to call her my best friend.

Best Man
Meet Nick, Andrew’s Best Man. The two became close while living together in Brookline, and since then, Nick has been by Andrew’s side for everything from everyday life to unforgettable adventures — including trips to Thailand and Switzerland. Nick is a physician who always gives excellent medical advice (whether you ask for it or not), and at this point, we sometimes joke that he’s our son. He’s German, very funny, and loves to remind us that some people always need an extra sausage — and according to Nick, Andrew is occasionally one of those people. Always up for anything — even when the invite comes the day of (yes, including a last-minute trip to Sunday River in Maine) — Nick is endlessly loyal, always down to split the G, and brings the best energy to every plan. He’s become just as much a friend to Amanda as he is to Andrew, and life truly wouldn’t be as fun without him. We couldn’t imagine this day without Nick standing next to Andrew as Best Man.
