Amanda and Andrew’s story began long before either of them realized it. They grew up just one street apart, attending preschool through sixth grade together - sharing classrooms, playgrounds, and the same familiar Walpole neighborhood. As they got older, they went to different high schools and naturally drifted into separate lives. Every once in a while, they’d still see each other at the Walpole LA Fitness. Just two familiar faces passing by, not knowing what was waiting for them years later. In her early twenties, Amanda and her mom Karen ran into Andrew’s mom, Pam, at Marshall’s. Pam went home thinking maybe those two should date someday. It was sweet, it was casual and it quietly planted a seed neither of them knew existed. Nearly a decade later, fate finally caught up. Amanda and Andrew matched on a dating app and instantly reconnected. Their conversations were easy, nostalgic, and full of “I remember that!” moments of childhood and mutual friends. Within just two weeks, they were calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Confident, natural, and totally right. Since then, life together has been filled with adventure and shared excitement for exploring new places. They’ve skied the mountains of Switzerland, wandered through Portugal, and spent many summer days falling in love with Nantucket while Amanda worked on the island - cobblestone streets, beach sunsets, ice cream, and slow mornings with coffee by the water. They also discovered a shared love for winter weekends on the slopes, especially skiing at Loon Mountain, a favorite getaway for crisp air, chairlift chats, and après-ski coziness. On August 29th, 2025, in the place that had become so special to them, Andrew proposed in Nantucket, turning a meaningful location into the heart of their story forever. Two kids who grew up side-by-side. Two adults who found their way back to each other. One love story still unfolding with many mountains, flights, and sunsets ahead.
