Katie and Jaclin went to High School together, but became really close on their trip to San Francisco for Natalia's birthday in 2008. From then on, they became inseparable leading them to becoming best friends. Jaclin knows Katie better than anyone. They lived up their 20's in Downtown Riverside and Newport Beach. Jaclin is one of the most loyal friends you can find and Katie is so happy to have her by her side as she starts the next chapter of her life.
Garrett Wears

Garrett and Jon used to work together during Jon's time with the US Forest Service, but their friendship goes well beyond that. Roommates for almost 7 years, they have shared in the ups and downs of life and the many changes and challenges that come with it.
Kristen Cameron
Maid of Honor
Kristen and Katie met in Newport Beach in 2015, attended The Tortuga Music Festival in Florida and have been partners in crime ever since. Kristen is Katie's concert goer, travel partner, adventure friend and a friend Katie didn't even realize she needed. Kristen has such a big heart and Katie is so grateful for her constant support and happy to be sharing this special day with her.
Marcus Cantu

Jon first met Marcus during orientation for their academy with the LACoFD. They immediately realized they only lived a block away from one another and became study partners during probation and later carpool buddies for paramedic school. But, their relationship went far beyond work. They quickly became close friends and Jon often looks up to Marcus as an example of balancing work and life.
Chelsea Jory

Chelsea and Katie met in the neighborhood they grew up in. Chelsea had an infectious personality and Katie convinced her to stop home-schooling and go to High School with her. Chelsea is the best thing that came out of Katie's younger years. Even though Chelsea moved away to Utah the two of them always pick up where they left off. Chelsea is truly a forever friend who has become more like family.
Taylor Krost

Jon has literally known Taylor his entire life. You see, Taylor is Jon's nephew and Jon was there the day he was born. Jon could not be more proud of the man and father Taylor has become. While they live thousands of miles away and they see each other very seldom, Jon wasn't able to imagine his wedding without Taylor being a part of it.
Natalia Hinson

From trips to Glamis to trips around the world. Natalia and Katie met in High School and went from dating boys to finding the men of their dreams. Natalia is a great listener and always pushes Katie to explore the world. Katie was able to be a part of Natalia's wedding over five years ago and Katie is grateful to have Natalia by her side during hers.
Frankie Rodriguez

Frankie and Jon started their fire careers together. They meet at Rio Hondo's wildland fire academy in 2006. While Frankie was hired with the LAFD almost immediately and Jon went on to the USFS, they remained in touch and were even roommates for a few years. While they live busy lives, they keep in touch from time to time and often discuss the most important parts of their lives.

Although they did not hang out in High School, Amber and Katie eventually became friends and roommates in Costa Mesa. Amber has always been such a sweet friend and Katie had the honor of not only being in Amber's wedding, but also seeing her become an amazing Mom. Katie is happy that they get to keep the memories going by now having Amber as her bridesmaid as she says "I Do!"
Joshua Mena

Josh is like a little brother to Jon. They met while working for the USFS and spent years together on the same engine. Recently Jon had the pleasure of being Josh's best man in his wedding, a task that Jon didn't take lightly. While he may have thrown a few jabs at Josh during his speech, Jon couldn't imagine his own wedding without Josh being a part of it.

This hot rockstar momma became Katie's roommate's better half a few months into Katie moving to Costa Mesa. Bri and Katie grew a bond in the time they lived together before Bri and Steve started a family of their own. They've shared trips to Mammoth, the river and tailgating at country concerts. Katie is looking forward to continuing the memories and one day when their kids will too become friends.
Beth Ryker
Mother of the Groom
Jon owes everything he is to his mother. Things were not easy for her while Jon was growing up, but she put everything she had into providing for him after his father had a stroke. She is his example of strength and he hopes to be able to return all the love and support that she has given him over the years.

Mother of the Bride
This mother of seven is a beautiful person inside and out. She loves harder than anyone. Even with as many as there are, Mary is always there for her kids and makes all of her children, grandchildren and great grand children feel loved and supported. She is one of Katie's best friends and Katie doesn't know what she'd do without her.
Millard Ryker
Father of the Groom
Mid, Jons father, was a hard working and dedicated man. He strove to give Jon and his two sisters the best life he could. Jon gets his determination and drive from his father's example. Jon hopes that one day he will be able to share in the joy of having and providing for his own family as his father did. Mid will be with us in spirit.

Father of the Bride
After having three boys, Edward was ready for his little girl. Although he says that Katie is a Momma's Girl, Katie will always be his gorgeous and they are so much alike. Edward is a great father and would do anything for Katie. She has been waiting for the moment when her Dad would walk her down the aisle and although he will be giving her away, she will always be his baby.

In 2016 this fun-loving ball of energy made Katie an Aunt for the 12th time. He makes being an Aunt so much fun and holds a special place in Katie's heart. Jon and Katie are happy that Jax said yes to taking on the responsibility of carrying the wedding bands down the aisle and hope to see some of his slick moves on the dance floor.

In 2000, Katelyn, who was named after Katie, made Katie an aunt for the 5th time. Katelyn has always been so fun and quirky and Katie loves when Katelyn comes to California to visit. Katie's talented niece will be blessing us with her beautiful voice as Katie walks down the aisle to her groom.
Don Maresh

Don watched Katie grow up from three years old when she and her family moved in next door. She was friends with and went to school with his kids. Don has been a pastor for many years and in the past couple of years retired to Havasu, Arizona. Jon and Katie are grateful that Don is making the trip to help Jon and Katie to say "I Do" to forever.
