Desja is Ryeisha's cousin/best friend. They are related through Ryeisha's brother RaShawn but blood couldn't make them any closer. They met when Desja moved to Atlanta to attend Clayton State University. Ever since then they have been inseparable. They have grown together and been by each other's side through out their life journey since Ryeisha was in high school. Desja has assisted in helping Ryeisha become the woman she is today.

Andrew is James's cousin. They met through extended family. Playing football brought them closer together as they realized how much they have in common. From living in Wilson, North Carolina to moving to Atlanta, Georgia, they still have each others backs.

Bianca and Ryeisha met very young through their mothers serving in the US Army together. They have also shared common interest such as music and dance. Bianca is like a god sister to Ryeisha. They have made a point to stay in contact with each other through the years and always show up to support each other. Since little kids they have always connected with each other like sisters and its no different now that they are both adults.

Quantez and James have been best friend for 3 years. They met at Ralph L. Fike High School in 2008 and reconnected when they began working together in 2017. From trips to different states to tough times, they both have been there for each other through some of life toughest and greatest moments.
Sonjia Evans

Sonjia and Ryeisha met when she started working at Emory University. Sonjia tried to deny her love for Ryeisha but Ryeisha wasn't hearing it. They became very close as they both got a promotion together and ever since then they have had a loving and very transparent relationship. Sonjia has helped Ryeisha grow professionally and personally.
James Haywood aka KO

James and KO met 8 years ago. They started out on opposing football teams and then KO joined the same team as James and for the last 7 years that is the way it has been. KO is someone who James can call for any and everything and blood could not make them any closer.
Jade Morris

Jade and Ryeisha also met through their parents. They grew up together with having parents who, to them, seemed like clones. Their moms and dads have so much in common so just like that Jade and Ryeisha clicked and became very close. Ryeisha looks at Jade like her big little sister. They have been around each other all of their lives and have no plans of changing that.

Tyrique was James's first friend when he transitioned from Baltimore, Maryland (where he was born, GO RAVENS) to Wilson, North Carolina. Even though they may not see or talk to each other everyday, James and Tyrique will always pick up like they never left off.

Rylee is Ryeisha's niece. Ryeisha loves Rylee dearly but Rylee just uses her to get to James. He is her favorite! Both Rylee and Ryeisha will forever be in a secret war for James's heart.
