Catch The Carters 2020

The Carter's met through mutual friends on Facebook. At first they didn't think it could be something serious but after talking on the phone and Facebook messenger, they realized that this was true love. They began to communicate everyday and even take turns to visit each other, as their relationship began long distance.

The Carters purchased their first house in March of 2019, allowing them to begin their journey together, finally. James moved to Atlanta, GA from Wilson, NC. This huge move began the process for them to create the foundation for their legacy and family they both talked and dreamed about having.

James worked quickly and diligently to secretly prepare for the biggest commitment of his life. He set the date to be the day after Ryeisha graduated from cosmetology school, so that all of their loved ones could attend without causing any suspicion from Ryeisha. As he gathered all of their close family and friends without Ryeisha knowing, he proceeded to ask for her hand in marriage on September 8, 2019. Of course, without a doubt in her mind, she cried out YES. (3 times to be exact lol). This was the moment that will mark the beginning of their journey together.
