Should I book my hotel room ASAP?

Answer

YES! We specifically selected our date because Ohio State Football was not having a home game that weekend, however, they recently changed their schedule and they will be having a home game the Saturday after our wedding (9/24). Our venue is close to OSU campus and hotel rooms get filled up quickly. Uber/lyft are all over and if you choose to drive to the venue you can leave your car there overnight in the garage if needed!

Where can I park by the hotel?

Answer

There is TONS of free parking available in the Grandview yard area, a true Columbus rarity. There is a free garage located next to the Courtyard Marriott, see photo above with the closest parking garage. If you book a hotel elsewhere, you can still park in the garage/lot for free by the venue. You can also leave your car there overnight and Uber back to the hotel if needed!

Are the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same place?

Answer

Yes! We have booked the Grand Event Center in Columbus, OH for all three events on Friday, 9/23. The venue is directly next to the hotel as well, no need to move cars or travel anywhere!

Question

When do Kelsey and Matt leave for their honeymoon? Should I hang out Saturday for Buckeye football?

Answer

We will be leaving from Columbus Sunday 9/25 for our Hawaii honeymoon. We would love to hang out Saturday with friends and family and watch the Ohio State football team with any native or honorary Buckeyes! Hofbrauhaus next to the hotel or High Bank Distillery down the road are great places to watch the game!

Does the venue accommodate dietary restrictions/preferences?

Answer

Yes! If you have a specific need such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc, please let us know and we will make sure there is a meal for you!
