August 26, 2019 Katherine started her second year of college.

January 11, 2020 Date at the Santa Barbara Zoo. Ryan spent a lot of time visiting Katherine in Santa Barbara before he moved up to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly for Aeronautical Engineering.

January 19, 2020 Ryan and Katherine went skydiving for Ryan's golden birthday.

June 25, 2021 Starting to attend weddings together.

December 25, 2021 we don't split holidays, but Ryan always makes it a point to come by and see Katherine for a few hours on Christmas.

January 22, 2022 Ryan's 21st birthday.

May 7, 2022 Katherine graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelors in Communication.

May 22, 2022 Ryan kept Katherine company on many of her training runs as she prepared for the Big Sur Marathon.

July 31, 2022 Shaver Lake camping trip.

August 29, 2022 third Disneyland trip together.

September 3, 2022 another wedding for more wonderful friends.

March 25, 2023 it snowed on us as we entered Yosemite. This was our first annual trip with two other couples. Ryan and Katherine were in charge of planning this one.

First stop after entering Yosemite Valley was to pull over at the iconic El Capitan and Half Dome lookout.

After an entire day exploring Yosemite Ryan got down on one knee and asked Katherine to marry him... she said yes!

The story behind Katherine's ring is pretty special. The same jeweler that made her Grandma's, Mom's, Sister's, and Sister-in-Law's rings made hers. Katherine wasn't expecting this and it led to extra tears.

March 31, 2023 started celebrating all the friends we had getting married in 2023.

April 30, 2023 Katherine completed the Big Sur Marathon and Ryan was waiting at the finish line for her.

Katherine's brother David wanted to plunge in the ocean after the marathon. But Katherine had already gone stiff and cold so Ryan carried her over most of the beach and back.

May 15, 2023 Ryan and Katherine started their family with Archer the golden retriever.

May 26, 2023 Archer attended his first of many photography sessions while Katherine worked and Ryan taught him how to be a proper working dog.

July 1, 2023 laughing our way through the wedding lineup.

August 25, 2023 Ryan and Katherine flew up to Seattle Washington to celebrate the wedding of Kyle and Grace White.

October 28, 2023 eight month count down to "I do". Ryan and Katherine are doing a date each monthly leading up to the wedding and this one was a day trip to Sand Dollar Beach with the pup.

November 9, 2023 Katherine finally got to be in front of the camera when they got their engagement photos done.

November 28, 2023 seven month count down until "I do". Thrift store roulette and then dinner and Barnes & Noble.

December 28, 2023 six month count down until "I do". Long drive along the 101 and lunch at Cold Springs Tavern.

January 28, 2024 five month count down until "I do". Pretending to be tourists for a day in Morro Bay with lunch on the water and walking around Morro Rock to watch the waves.

February 1, 2024 Enjoying the outdoors and our little family time between all the winter storms.

February 28, 2024 four month count down until "I do." Sunset (after dark) picnic in Pinnacles National Park.
