Mike and Kayla graduated from the same high school and knew of each other, but never really crossed paths until going to college at UW Oshkosh and living in the same dorm. There were many awkward encounters throughout the first year, but one day Kayla finally decided to break the ice. "Mike, why are you so weird?!"... There has been chemistry ever since! Once their vacation to California was booked, Mike knew this was going to be the perfect time to pop the question. He spent the weeks leading up to the trip trying to figure out Kayla's rings size by tying a string around her finger while she was sleeping. He thought he finally nailed down the size and went ring shopping. Mike and Kayla hiked up to the Griffith Observatory, overlooking the city of Los Angeles and as the sun began to set, Mike asked Kayla if she would make him the happiest man on Earth. OF COURSE SHE SAID YES! *By the way, measuring someone's finger with a string is NOT accurate! But, it's definitely comical!*
