Question

Answer

Oh no, we're so sorry and know that you will be missed! Due to the destination nature of our wedding, a lot of arrangements are made in advance, including securing meals, which is based on the original RSVP count. Given the situation, we want to let you know that we may need to ask for reimbursement for the cost of you (and your party's plate), as we are still responsible for the costs for all confirmed guests, even if they are unable to attend. That being said, please notify the bride and groom as you are made aware of your situation.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding day is elegant formal attire. Please note you do not have to wear the wedding colors. See wedding guest attire lookbook here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGtupKiSf8/Xlxyzc2BE1_gHNK15ZE6gQ/view?utm_content=DAGtupKiSf8&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=hf621dba037 The color scheme is emerald green, forest green, black, gold, and accents of grey. The attire will be elegant, formal attire. The theme is elegant and old money, but still whimsical and romantic. Please be mindful that June is the rainy season for Costa Rica, but we do have a rain plan, and the rooftop has coverings. However, this is a summer wedding, please dress in breathable material. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR WHITE. You can wear tan and beige.

Answer

It is not required for guests to wear the wedding colors (emerald green, forest green, black gold, with accents of grey & white). Please do not wear white. Nudes and neutral are great substitutes for white.
