Let the adventure begin!

We are so excited to see you all!

Ryanne and I met in the fall of 2014 through her cousin, Erik Shaw. The night we officially met, we agreed to go on a bicycle ride the following day. Since then, we have been pretty much inseparable. In the early days of our relationship, we spent the weekends exploring Southwest Montana on our bicycles until the snow started to fall, and we swapped out wheels for skis. In the years since we have both finished our undergraduate degrees and completed our Master's degrees at Montana State University; mine in Microbiology and Ryanne's in Environmental Engineering. During that time, we also took ski trips to Japan and Canada. In March 2020, we tackled a month-long float down the Grand Canyon, where our love of rivers was sparked. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we spent many long hours together performing Covid tests for the state of Montana. Since then, we have been enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation. This has come from doing the same activities that brought us together in the first place: exploring the mountains, rivers, and trails of Montana. We are really excited to tie the knot and continue taking on life together and can't wait to celebrate our special day with all of you!
