We're Getting Married!

There was a cupid in the Pig's Eye Bar in Hartford, CT when Mike and Ryann met. Mike was living in Hartford for his job at GM and didn't know a soul in the area. He promised himself he would go out for one drink on a Friday night to avoid feeling cooped up in his unfurnished, 1-bedroom apartment. On his last couple sips before he closed out, Ryann and her dazzling group of friends burst through the door and immediately brought the energy into the dark dive bar. Mike reconsidered his immediate departure and the confidence of his last drink lead him straight to Ryann. Ryann played it cool at first, but it didn't take long before they spent the night dancing, laughing, and exchanging numbers. However, fate did not come untested. Shortly after Mike and Ryann started dating, he was notified he would need to move to Delaware! Though this news was expected, it made the star crossed lovers consider what they meant to each other. Luckily for us all, they decided to give it a shot. Long distance (4 hour drive) made the heart grow fonder and then.... COVID hit. Mike convinced Ryann to stay for a week in DE, which turned to 2, then 6, then they moved in together!! Mike would say it's because Ryann loved his cooking... Ryann is still unsure. Mike and Ryann got engaged in the lovely First State of Delaware in summer of 2022 and moved to MI in the summer of 2023. They cannot wait to celebrate their love with their close friends and family in summer of 2024! We look forward to seeing you there!!!
