Where to stay in Salt Lake City?

There are so many great options in Salt Lake City! Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Millcreek, and Sandy are great areas located next to the Mountains. The wedding venue is a short drive from any of these cities. If you're looking for an "anchor point" look for a place to stay near the road Wasatch Blvd. It gives you freeway and easy venue access. They are central to both SLC and Park City. A few places we like in Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Millcreek, and Sandy: - Hyatt Place Cottonwood is in a great location and has a great breakfast. (We have a roomblock here). - Courtyard Cottonwood is right next to Big Cottonwood Canyon. Great location for hiking, food, and activities. - Airbnbs/VRBO's on or near Wasatch Blvd. There are tons out there! In the Salt Lake City downtown area: - Element Salt Lake City is new and has a great view and location. - Asher Adams is a beautiful new hotel in a great social area. Highly recommend. - Home2Suites SLC is close to the freeway and all activities, plus has kitchenettes available. The Gill Family has a home near Dimple Dell Park in Sandy! (About 2 miles from the wedding venue).

Where to stay in Park City?

There are a ton of great hotel and rental options in Park City. We have three discount codes to share in Canyons Resort. The Welcome Reception is located in the Resort, too. In Park City, staying near Main Street is a great option for food, shopping, and activities. Canyons is a great location for the mountains, hiking, pools, and food options. Deer Valley has a lot of amenities offered, and is in beautiful spot. A few options we like near Main Street: - Marriott Summit Watch for 1-2 bedrooms central to Main Street. - Park City Vacation Rentals has a variety nice condos available. - VRBO and Abode are two websites to check. A few options we like near/in Canyons Village: - The Grand Summit - The Sundial Lodge - The Silverado Lodge - Westgate has the best pool and has some great food options. - Hyatt Place is new and has a great breakfast options. For a few other places we love... - Deer Valley has a few places we love. The Montage and and St. Regis are beautiful. Highly recommend either. - Grand Hyatt was just built in the new expansion of Deer Valley. (Please note, it is an additional 15 minute drive to Park City from this location.) The Macadaeg Family has a house very close to Main Street/Deer Valley.

Rental Car

Should I rideshare or rent a car?

It is completely up to you! If you are just here for the wedding day festivities, rideshare is a great option because you will only have to take 3-4 rideshare trips in the SLC valley. If you're staying longer than 1 or 2 days, we'd recommend a rental car or Turo. Salt Lake and Park City aren't the most rideshare friendly due to the distance. If you want to go into the mountains, finding a rideshare is also somewhat difficult!

It is in a great location! 15 minutes from the wedding venue, 25 minutes from the welcome party, 5 minutes from Big Cottonwood Canyon, and 20 minutes from the airport.
