U.S. Space & Rocket Center
We love taking our out-of-town friends to the Space and Rocket Center to learn about the history of NASA. See the Saturn V, the Space Shuttle, and the Apollo 16 capsule. Visit on Thursday nights for the weekly German Biergarten festival.
Domaine South
Our favorite Charcuterie restaurant. Grab a glass of wine and sit on the porch if you like! Reservations recommended.
Blevins Gap Nature Preserve
An uphill hike is rewarded by one of the best sunsets in Huntsville. Contact Ryan and Jordan if you plan on going on this hike for more details!
Campus No. 805
Food, multiple breweries, axe throwing, and an arcade, all inside a former school campus. What more could you want? We recommend Straight to Ale's Diablo Burger, Tacos at Hops N Guac, and T-Minus Kolsch at Yellowhammer.
Stovehouse
A great spot to grab some food! This refinished old stove factory now serves multiple restaurants, a bar, and fun outdoor games in an open air complex. You can find ramen, fabulous street tacos, crepes, craft cocktails and more! It's within walking distance of Campus No. 805.
Harmony Park Safari
A drive through Safari in Alabama, whaaat! Nothing too glamorous, but a great way to spend the afternoon. Cost is approximately $10 per car and $5 for a bucket of food. Get ready to see some emus, giraffes, yaks, monkeys, and more, plus don't forget to explore the reptile house.
Stone Age Korean BBQ
A delicious restaurant with all you can eat Korean BBQ meats and sides. Cook everything yourself at a small grill in the center of your table. Think: Melting Pot, lose the fondue, gain a grill.
City of Mooresville, AL
It's where we are getting married! This SUPER quaint and picturesque town is stunning. It's small and would be great to drive through before heading to the venue. It's right on the way once you pull off the interstate, go straight through the stop sign and take a look back in time.
Rocket City Trash Pandas Baseball
The newest Minor League Baseball franchise, the Rocket City Trash Pandas, have home games all week of the wedding for your beer and baseball fix. Just don't go to the game on Saturday night, you have better things to do! Try the Dumpster Wrap at the concession stand, or at least read the ridiculous ingredient list: 2 hot dogs, french fries, chili, fried jalapeno caps, chipotle aioli, all wrapped up inside of a cheese quesadilla. Truly a great way for heartburn.
