Take a stroll on Charlottesville's historic downtown pedestrian mall. There are tons of shops and restaurants!
Bodo's Bagels
The best spot for breakfast or lunch bagels! Bodo's is a Charlottesville staple.
Feast! Food
The cutest food market with amazing selection of local wine, cheese, and delicious snacks. The lunch cafe menu has sandwiches, salads, and soups. Fun fact * Devon used to work here and still frequents feast! regularly.
Continental Divide
One of our favorite restaurant spots for dinner. They have delicious tex-mex food and margaritas (watch out!). Don't miss the Red Hot Blues nachos, with spicy blue corn tortilla chips, goat cheese, jack cheese and red onions. They're a must have. William's favorite - the Spinach and Mushroom Enchiladas. Devon loves the Santa Fe Enchiladas or the Quesadilla del Dia!
Virginia Discovery Museum
For our friends with little ones, there is a Discovery Museum on the Downtown Mall. Great for kids of all ages!
Saunders-Monticello Trail
This is a nice and easy trail to get out in nature! It has close proximity to downtown Charlottesville, making it easily accessible. It is set on 89 acres of land along the Thomas Jefferson Parkway and includes miles of gravel walkways, boardwalks, and rustic woodland paths, ending at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard
Just 15 minutes away from Alder Creek Farm! Grab a glass of wine at one of Keswick's newest vineyards. Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard has a welcoming, playful spirit as well as delicious wine. It is also known for its uniquely maximalist style and unexpected artwork.
