Erin and Bryan first crossed paths back in 10th grade, in the hallways of Hauppauge High School. There was definitely a spark… but the timing? Not so much. They liked each other, talked often, hung out a few times, and Bryan even had Erin kicked out of one of his parties but hey, high school love stories are never perfect. Even after that, Bryan never really disappeared from Erin’s life. Through Snapchats and random texts, they somehow always stayed connected. Years later, Bryan finally worked up the courage to ask Erin out… over text. Very bold. Very modern. Very Bryan. Of course, Erin said yes and just like that, the real love story began. They started their relationship while Bryan was in the police academy and Erin was finishing her undergraduate degree. Bryan would surprise Erin after long days, driving up to her school at 2 a.m. as if it were no big deal, but to Erin, it meant everything. Sometimes they met halfway at Bryan’s family home in Pennsylvania. Other times, they drove the distance just to be together. After Erin graduated, they had one year together on Long Island, making the drive between Hauppauge and Long Beach part of their routine. Then came another challenge: Erin headed to graduate school in Florida. Long distance returned, but so did Bryan’s dedication. He flew down almost every other weekend, spending every moment he could with her. Once again, it meant the world. After Erin graduated, Bryan made a big move too leaving the NYPD and starting an amazing new chapter with the Jupiter Police Department. That’s where their life together truly began. They expanded their family by adding Tucker (their dog) and Ritz (their cat) to their family, making them a family of four. Their first apartment. Their first home. And the start of forever in sunny Florida. What began as a hallway crush turned into seven incredible years of love, laughter, and long-distance visits from SUNY Cortland to Gannon University in Tampa, and everywhere in between. They mastered the art of making it work: countless trips, unforgettable vacations, cozy nights watching Erin’s favorite shows, and waking up every day knowing they still chose each other. Now, after all the almosts, maybes, and perfect timing… On November 1st, 2026, they finally get their forever. 💍✨
