We will have a goodbye brunch for everyone at Abbadia Sicille the morning after the wedding at 11:00 AM. Please ensure you check out of your rooms and bring all your belongings with you We will allow ourselves to relax and take our time gathering our belongings before heading back to Florence. We have arranged for the bus to leave Abbadia Sicille and take us back to the pick-up point, Parcheggio Autostradale “Drive and Tramway” – Villa Costanza, for 2 PM, meaning you are set to arrive back at the pick-up point for no later than 4 PM. We recognize that everyone is planning for activities after the wedding day so we appreciate your patience as we've been organizing this timing. If there are any concerns regarding the transportation, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Flight

Flight Options

For our guests flying from Canada, please note there are several flight options you can take to arrive in Italy. As noted in our Schedule tab, we will require all guests to be in Florence the day before the wedding in order to be picked up by our shuttle service. This means that depending on what your travel itinerary looks like, you might choose to roundtrip from one of the major cities in Italy like Rome or Florence, or start your trip in another country like France or Spain and then travel to Florence from there via plane or train. Airlines from Canada to the UK or Europe that we recommend most are Air Canada and WestJet, though you may find great flight routes with other airlines like United or Virgin Atlantic.

Travel Note

Travelling Around Easter

We are so excited to be celebrating with you all the week following the Easter weekend! With that said, Italy can be quite busy during Easter weekend and we suggest arranging your plans around the high tourist time. For example, it may not be a great idea to pencil in visiting Vatican City over the Easter weekend as you can expect crazy lineups. We also suggest booking any accommodations for your stay before the wedding ASAP if you are planning to be in Rome or Florence over the Easter weekend.
