Yes! We’ve secured a room block at the Holiday Valley Resort. You can find full details about how to book under our wedding block on the Book Your Travel page.
The RSVP deadline for the Wedding Shower is August 1st, 2026. The RSVP deadline for the Wedding is August 15th, 2026. You are now able to submit your response for both the shower and the wedding on the 'RSVP' page. During the RSVP process, each event that you are invited to will be listed and you’ll have to select a ‘Will Attend’ or ‘Will Not Attend’ for each event individually, and answer any other additional questions such as meal selection or dietary restrictions. Please continue to follow the prompts until the very end as your rsvp will not save unless you do so.
Yes! We’re asking our guests to dress in **Cocktail Attire (Garden Party Inspired)**. Gentlemen might consider suits or sport coats with dress shirts and slacks; ladies may opt for cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates. Think polished but not stuffy, colorful but not casual—with a nod to the season. Florals, richer fall tones, and festive touches are all encouraged. You'll find some visual inspiration on the 'Attire Inspo' page!
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (weather permitting—knock on wood), and the reception will be indoors. We’ll have shade, fans, or heaters available as needed, but please dress comfortably for the weather. All outdoor portions of the wedding will be on Holiday Valley’s Champagne Sundeck, which is stone (not grass or mud).
Western New York weather can be unpredictable, but in late September we’re typically hanging on to the last few days of summer! During the day, temperatures are usually warm and comfortable, while the evenings tend to become crisp and cool. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors from approximately 4:30–6:00 PM, with the reception indoors from 6:00–11:00 PM. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the outdoor portions of the celebration, especially once the sun goes down.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking, transportation, and finding your seat.
Yes! Complimentary parking will be available at Holiday Valley's Yodeler Lodge for all wedding guests.
Yes! We’ve arranged shuttle transportation within a 5-mile radius of Holiday Valley before and after the wedding. Additional details, including how to reserve pickup times and submit pickup/drop-off locations, can be found on the 'Book Your Travel' page.
Downtown Ellicottville! There are tons of great bars, breweries, and late-night spots within minutes of Holiday Valley. And yes, many of the cousins already have plans to do so.
Absolutely! Holiday Valley and Ellicottville have so much to offer throughout the weekend, including hiking, shopping, restaurants, bars, spas, golf, and more. We highly encourage making a weekend out of it and exploring everything this little town has to offer. We’ve included many of our favorite spots, restaurants, bars, and activities on the ‘Things To Do’ page, all thoroughly “researched” by the two of us over the years.
We love your little ones, but this will be an adult-only celebration (18+). Enjoy the night off and come ready to party!
We kindly ask that only those formally invited attend. If your invitation is addressed to "{Your Name} + Guest," then a plus-one has been reserved for you. If you believe we made an error or have any questions, please reach out to us directly.
Absolutely! We do have a weather backup plan in place should Mother Nature decide not to cooperate. We’re hoping for sunshine and peak foliage, but either way, we’ll make sure everyone stays comfortable and the celebration goes on!
