Maid of Honor
“I met summer in kindergarten technically but we became best friends in 6th grade. For many years were only apart when we were sleeping. From 6am carpool to late nights at the studio we were inseparable. Even though we went to college in different states we thankfully got to study abroad together and between my love of history and Summer’s love of food we make good travel buddies. Despite her stressing me out on many occasions. I would describe her as outgoing, confident, and determined.” - Kyle, Phoenix AZ

“I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan at the ripe age of three years old (I think). Growing up with three sisters, RJ quickly became the brother I had been longing for. Ryan has a gigantic heart, he’s methodical in his workings, and he is unwaveringly loyal – get a couple beers in him and you’ll see the goofy side which may be my favorite attribute. To the day, Ryan has been by my side through it all and I am honored to be his Best Man as he was mine.” Jack, Sausalito, CA

“I met Summer in 2015 when Ryan decided to let his new high school sweetheart meet his crazy family, specifically his very cool sister. Over the years, I’ve loved showing Summer more musicals than she probably ever anticipated watching! I won’t forget the 4 hour drive to Tahoe where we introduced her to Hamilton. There would be countless nights to come in the Jones household listening to Hamilton. I appreciate that she’s always down to try something new. I can’t wait to keep going to shows for more years to come. I would describe her as outgoing, driven, and enthusiastic about joining the family!” Em, Los Angeles, CA

“I met Summer at UMass and we became closer through our sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. Being out of state students brought us together and from there we were inseparable. We have so many amazing college memories together including many formals, snow darties, and more recently our week in the Hamptons and random meetup in Newport, RI. Despite the distance we make it work and try to plan girls trips as often as we can. Luckily I live in Summer’s favorite city so convincing her to visit isn’t hard. I would describe her as someone who brings the most fun energy to any occasion.” - T Fab, NYC, NY

“Summer and I met in the freshmen dorms at UMass and we quickly became close friends. From UMass to studying abroad together we have made countless memories. We had the opportunity to travel to over 10 countries together and I think we can both agree we miss our three food groups being meat, cheese, and wine. Although as a nutritionist that’s not recommended. My family was Summer’s surrogate Massachusetts family and I think my family is to blame for her Boston slang. I would describe Summer as a go getter and the life of the party!” - Soph, Boston MA

“I met Summer at UMass at in Kappa in the Polar Bear Fam! We were cousins! We grew close doing many Greek “family” events together including Big Little Reveal and sharing House Chair duties. They say you don’t know someone until you live with them and it’s safe to say I know Summer pretty well. From Kappa King beds and being roommates in Amherst to the month we shared a studio apartment in San Diego with Lucy when she was 4 months old. We’ve traveled across the country together and Summer has successfully transformed me into a Californian. Summer is fun, fabulous, and bubbly, with a touch of chaos.” - Aunty Tay Tay, San Diego, CA

“I met Summer at our dance studio in middle school. We started to become close when we realized how similar we were and then eventually realized how similar our families were! Wrapping up middle school and heading into high school we hung out every single weekend and did everything in our power to make the most elaborate plans. We both could never “relax” and instead had to always be on the go—which created so many insane but everlasting memories together! I would describe Summer as EXUBERANT and oh so very fun!” - Bay, San Francisco, CA

“I met Ryan back in 2015 when Summer brought him home to introduce him to the family. As you can imagine, it’s tough watching your little sister start to date, but I have to say, we were all pleasantly surprised by how respectful and kind-hearted Ryan was. It quickly became clear that he was a great guy, and I’m happy to say that Summer has truly met her match in him. I’m excited to watch them both grow and embark on this next chapter of their lives together.” - Mike, Brentwood, CA

“I met Ryan freshman year of high school at De La Salle. We played lacrosse together from Sophomore year to Senior year. I would describe him as silent, but deadly. He doesn’t say much, but when he does, it’s worth a listen.” - Ben, San Francisco, CA

“ I met Ryan in the 4th grade when Bill was our CYO basketball coach. We ended up teaming up again on the lacrosse field and became close friends freshman year at DLS. Ryan’s become like a brother to me, we love to argue and compete - and he loves to remind me that I’ll never beat him in a round of golf. After living with Bud for 2 years, I was witness to and admire his drive, loyalty, and passion for everything he does. Keep on grinding - love you Buddy.” Keanu, Danville, CA

“I met Ryan when he started St. Isidore in the 2nd grade. My dad forced me to make friends with the “new” kid in school and the rest is history. I would describe Ryan as level headed, mature, a loyal friend, and a creature of habit. Once he finds something he likes, he sticks with it. I’m happy he’s stuck with me all these years.” Conor, San Francisco, CA

“Ryan and I met in 2nd grade at St. Isidore. We grew up playing many different sports together, lacrosse being one of them, that Ryan introduced me to and taught me how to play. One of my favorite things about Buddy is how good of a coach/mentor he is. He has the patience to always take the time to help you improve without even thinking about himself. When Ryan has a passion for something, he dedicates hard work to strive to be the best. He’s loving, caring, and has the funniest sense of humor out of anybody I know. Cheers to Ryan and Summer.” - Gus, San Diego, CA
