We’re Getting Married!

Our story began in 2015 in high school in Concord, California. Ryan played lacrosse at De La Salle, and Summer was on the dance team at Carondelet—just across the street. Introduced by mutual friends, we quickly hit it off and started dating junior year. Our early days were filled with Panera and Chick-fil-A dates, Friday night football games, and creative prom-posals (always featuring animals, of course). Summer’s love of animals became even more obvious when Lucy, our spaniel, joined the family. When college took us to opposite coasts—Ryan to the University of San Diego and Summer to UMass—we parted ways but stayed close through countless texts, visits, and FaceTime calls. Summer escaped to San Diego for warm-weather getaways, while Ryan visited UMass for football games and fall leaves. We didn’t know what the future held, but life had a plan. In 2020, the pandemic brought us both back to the Bay Area, and with distance no longer an issue, we picked up right where we left off. Soon after, we moved to San Francisco, where we’ve spent the last five years making memories—walking Lucy to Fort Mason, traveling the world, skiing, golfing, and enjoying incredible food. Now, nearly a decade later, we’re so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with all of you in Scottsdale on March 28th! With most of Summer’s family in Arizona (and plenty of golf nearby), it was the perfect place to say "I do." We can’t wait to reunite for the wedding of a lifetime—see you on the green!
