Question

How should I plan to get around while I'm in San Sebastian?

Answer

San Sebastian is a walkable city with accessible public transit. Everyone should be able to get around without their own vehicle. You can also rent a car if you'd like. Saturday's wedding ceremony will be reachable from the city's downtown area, and transportation will be provided to the reception that follows and returning to the city at the end of the reception. There are three ways to get a taxi in Donostia / San Sebastian. Taxis will not pull over if you hail them or wave at them. Instead, you can either 1) Find a taxi stand on the street where several taxis are pulled over waiting for passengers (these are every few blocks, especially in the downtown area), 2) Ask a restaurant or hotel to call a taxi for you when you leave, or 3) Call the taxi service 24/7 at (+34) 943-46-46-46.

Question

Can you say more about the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for Friday's welcome event is comfortable and casual. Feel free to wear whatever you would normally wear for a Friday night on the town! Everything from jeans on up is welcome. The dress code for Saturday's ceremony and reception are "festive." Dress as if you're ready to have a good time! Suits and ties are welcome, so is a little extra color, a pocket square or a studded belt. Whatever feels right. Alternative ideas and interpretations are welcome! You're encouraged to make as little or as much of the theme as you want.
