Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be transportation to and from the hotels for the ceremony and reception. The hotels included are Eaglewood Resort, Courtyard Chicago Wood Dale/Itasca, and Hyatt Place Itasca. Please be waiting in the lobby by 4:30pm. Guest shuttles will leave no later than 4:45pm.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We were hoping you'd ask! The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive at least twenty minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating. This time is around rush hour so please make note if you are driving to leave a little earlier for unexpected traffic. We understand that it's a Friday wedding and if you want to skip the ceremony and meet us at the reception, please do! Cocktail hour will start at six o'clock with the reception following at seven o'clock.

Are the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Medinah Country Club.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, we will have complimentary valet.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Due to Medinah Country Club dress code, no blue jean/denim attire is allowed on property.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Cocktail hour and the reception will be held indoors, while the ceremony will be held outdoors on grass, weather dependent. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony we will move it indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.
