We first met as 6th graders at Mount Mourne IB Middle School but didn't really become friends until 10th grade at South Iredell. Since Ryan went to a different high school for junior and senior year, Savannah asked him to Junior Prom so that he could come and join our friends. Ryan then asked Savannah to go see a movie (Captain America: Civil War), which she didn't realize was a date. After several more movie and dinner not-dates, we went to SCarowinds as a "real" date in October 2016 and officially started dating the next day.
