Griffith Park
So much to do and see here. There’s a beautiful park, a golf course, and several hiking trails with amazing views of LA. It’s only a short hike from here to the Griffith Observatory at the top of the hill.
Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market & Patio Cafe
One of our favorite things to do is to spend the day in Malibu. This seafood shack is right off the Pacific Coast Highway, and has a great outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the ocean. It’s pretty sweet.
Moonshadows Malibu
This restaurant is just magical. Great food with a lounge area on a pier. You can eat or drink cocktails over the water, with waves crashing underneath you. A wonderful place to watch the sunset over the ocean.
The Cow's End Cafe
Cute, beachy coffee and sandwich shop at the Marina Del Ray Pier. Their chai lattes are the best. Grab a drink here and walk along the boardwalk. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the heart of Venice Beach.
The Getty
An extensive collection of European and American Art, from the Middle Ages to the present. Breathtaking architecture, beautiful gardens, and spectacular views of LA.
Mizlala
Our favorite restaurant in LA. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Small plates for trying a bit of everything. It’s crazy good.
McConnell's Fine Ice Creams
Best ice cream in LA.
Rainbow Bar & Grill
Whenever we’d play a gig on The Sunset Strip, we’d come here afterwards. It’s right by The Whisky, The Roxy, and The Viper Room, and is a vestage of the rock and roll days of yore. They’re usually playing eighties hair metal inside. The pizza is delicious and surprisingly, so is the chicken soup.
