Things To Do

Ryan T. combines his tour guide knowledge with Ryan S.'s nearly 15 years of living here to offer some of our favorite Windy City activities!

Wendella Tours & Cruises

400 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Outside of a tour given by Ryan T. himself, the Wendella Boats are the best way to see the Loop and learn about its history!

Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop

400 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

After your boat tour, get some ice cream in the historic Wrigley Building!

Cloud Gate

201 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60602

Her official name is Cloud Gate, but we all know her as The Bean! Pay your respects to Ms. Bean in Millennium Park, and then head over to...

The Art Institute of Chicago

111 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

Our favorite museum in the city! You could spend hours here and only see a tenth of what they have to offer. Permanent exhibits include the largest collection of impressionist art in the world, as well as the America Windows by Chagall. Rotating exhibits change frequently. Chicago residents can use their Chicago Library card to get free tickets here: https://www.chipublib.org/news/digital-museum-passes-reserve-online/.

The iO Theater

1501 North Kingsbury Street, Chicago, IL 60642

If you're looking to laugh, head over to iO for improv comedy all week long.

Sfera Sicilian Street Food

5759 North Broadway, Chicago, IL 60660

A wonderful Sicilian restaurant, blocks from our wedding venue!

Myopic Books

1564 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622

One of the coolest used bookstores in the city. Right off the Damen Blue Line stop.

Armadillo's Pillow Inc

6753 North Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60626

Another used book store we love, this one in the Loyola neighborhood!

Hopleaf

5148 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60640

Belgian-focused pub and restaurant featuring a wide variety of craft beer options! The mussels are a specialty we highly recommend.

Chinatown Square Plaza

2133 South China Place, Chicago, IL 60616

A part of one of (if not the ONLY) growing Chinatown in the USA, Chinatown Square offers shops and restaurants you won't find anywhere else in the city.

Garfield Park Conservatory

300 North Central Park Avenue, Chicago, IL 60624

This oasis really shows why Chicago's motto is "City in a garden." Fun fact: Ryan T.'s sister took wedding photographs here!

Lincoln Park Zoo

Chicago, IL 60614

One of the nation's oldest zoos, it's totally free to visit!

Geja's Cafe

340 West Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614

A favorite Ryan date spot, it's a 60s Spanish underground fondue fantasy.
