Unlike most couple in the modern era, we met in real life! Ryan T. was performing in a sketch comedy show at The Cornservatory. Ryan S. was in the audience. After the show, their friends introduced them to each other. After the classic, "Wow we have the same name!" conversation subsided, we kept talking the entire night...and haven't stopped yapping since.
The house is a 1909 Prairie Style mansion, renovated in the 1920s; it's a perfect mix of vintage American styles, and we encourage you to let this inspire your outfit choices! Think of it as "garden party chic."
Colvin House is located at 5940 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60660. The easiest and cheapest way to get to the venue is by the CTA, Chicago's transit system. The Thorndale stop on the Red Line is two blocks west of the house. The 136, 147, and 151 busses also stop directly in front of the house, on Sheridan Road. We highly encourage you to use transit to reach Colvin! You could also take an Uber or Lyft. Ask to be dropped off on the Thorndale side of the house.
