We recommend renting a car at the airport and sharing with family or friends when possible.

Blountville, Tennessee Tri-Cities is the closest airport to Sugar Hollow Retreat, approximately 1 hour away by car. It's a smaller regional airport, so flight options may be more limited, but it's definitely worth comparing when booking your trip. A rental car is recommended for getting to and from Sugar Hollow.

Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes from Sugar Hollow Retreat Knoxville is another great option for guests traveling to Tennessee, with a good variety of flights and rental car options. The drive to Sugar Hollow takes you through beautiful East Tennessee, making it an easy option to compare with Asheville, Charlotte, and Tri-Cities when looking for the best airfare and schedule.

Getting to Sugar HollowGetting to Sugar Hollow

Sugar Hollow Retreat 5793 Highway 321 Butler, TN 37640 Sugar Hollow is tucked away in the mountains, so we strongly recommend renting a car. If you're traveling with other wedding guests, carpooling or splitting a rental car is a great option. Important: Cell service can be limited as you get closer to Sugar Hollow. We recommend downloading your directions before leaving the airport. Once you arrive, all wedding events will take place on the Sugar Hollow property.

LodgingLodging

Sugar Hollow Retreat has a variety of cabins and rooms throughout the property. Since each cabin is a little different in size and layout, we’ll be coordinating on-site lodging and pairing family and friends together based on group size, availability, and what works best for everyone. Some of the cabins on the property are still undergoing renovations, so we’re waiting on final availability before making any lodging assignments. There are also plenty of cabins, Airbnbs, and vacation rentals very close to Sugar Hollow and around Watauga Lake. Depending on your group and the property, staying off-site may even be a more affordable option. No need to book anything through Sugar Hollow just yet! We’ll be sharing more lodging information within the next few weeks, including on-site availability and nearby off-site options. More finalized lodging details, cabin assignments, and wedding weekend information will also be provided with our official invitations.
