Is there a dress code?

Answer

Be comfortable! We’re not picky people and we want our guests to feel comfortable and be able to kick back and have a good time! Do keep in mind that the entire ceremony and reception will be held outside and plan appropriately for summer heat or wonderful fall weather! It is Virginia after all 🤪

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All guests over the age of 18 are allotted a +1 if they are not already indicated on your RSVP form

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are very welcome! We plan to have lawn games so the kiddos can have fun and be entertained while their parents enjoy some adult time!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Due to having our food catered, we cannot fully accommodate food allergies/preferences, but we will do our best to have a wide selection of finger foods!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! On the Registry tab, you will see that we have registered here on Zola, and on Amazon and Target.com. There are links that will take you to the external registries.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We have actually decided to have a BYOB style wedding, so we will provide mixers, ice and non-alcoholic drinks for our guests and you guys bring what you like! We do request that you be of the legal age to drink and that you have a plan in place to reach your homes safely. We love all of y’all and want you to have fun, while also keeping everyone’s safety in mind!

What if I don’t feel safe attending the wedding?

Answer

We will be offering the option of using the Zoom app to livestream our wedding for our guests who may be immunocompromised or feel unsafe attending a larger gathering during this time of uncertainty. If you wish to attend the Zoom livestream in lieu of being here in person, please contact me before the wedding so I can gather a list and be able to message you the meeting ID.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

This wedding is being held outside, so the choice to wear a mask is completely up to you. We want you to feel safe and comfortable, and if that means wearing a mask, then we encourage it. We however, will not be enforcing a mask rule.
