The One Where They Say “I Do”

Ryan and I met in November of 2018. I noticed him when he used to work in our local mall. I was instantly attracted to him, but was too shy to say anything to him. If you asked him, he’d tell you I stalked him and learned his work schedue to talk to him, but I maintain the fact that I was just lucky! After about a month, I finally got tired of waiting around for him to catch on to the fact that I liked him, and I decided to give him my number. It was instant attraction, and by our third date, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Our story feels like what can only be described as a whirlwind romance. By 4 months of dating, he had already introduced me to most of his family, including extended, and it just felt right. There was no forcing of feelings or awkwardness. Everything about our relationship felt right. After about 8 months together, and some talks on how we saw our future, we knew that we wanted to get married and that it was only a question of when. Ryan propsed on New Years Eve 2019 in our living room at home, with our closest friends around, and it was absoloutely perfect. It was 100% us. I’ve never been happier before in my life, and I’m pretty sure Ryan would agrees! I’m so honored and excited to become part of the Michaels family and I can’t wait for the rest of our life together!
