Sedona has TONS of beautiful hikes, though you'll also see some beautiful scenery at our wedding 🙂 If you're looking for a challenging hike and panoramic views, Cathedral Rock is excellent. Devil's bridge trail is another beautiful one and Oak Creek Canyon is a scenic area with lots of hikes and Slide Rock State Park
You can drive the Red Rock Scenic byway if sitting in air conditioning is more your thing. It's a beautiful 7.5 mile drive with lots of photo ops.
This is a quaint little village with shops, art galleries and restaurants. Uptown Sedona also has little shops and restaurants with pricey crystals and energy healers.
Sedona is known for its spiritual vortexes (per sedonavortex.com, a vortex is "A special spot on the earth where energy is either entering into the earth or projecting out of the earth’s plane"). Some say Sedona’s vortex energy is so powerful that you can actually feel it and that it is powerful enough to help people take giant leaps with their spiritual development (again, per the internet). There are four main vortexes in Sedona that are worth visiting (if not just for the beauty, if you're not a vortex believer): Airport Mesa Vortex, Cathedral Rock Vortex, Boynton Canyon Vortex, Bell Rock Vortex.
Sedona has lots of wineries! We haven't been to any of them yet but Google maps can bring you to lots of great ones!
Sedona is a dark sky community (one of the few in the USA), which means it has very little light pollution! This is perfect for viewing the beautiful stars and night sky.
