When should I arrive?

Answer

Guests can arrive at Tierra Retreat Center after 3:00 PM on Friday. The optional welcome dinner will be around 7:00 PM, so arriving before then is a great way to kick off the weekend with everyone.

What meals are included?

Answer

We’ll be covering several meals during the weekend, please fill out your RSVP survey so we can try to accommodate allergies accordingly. Friday - Welcome dinner (optional but all are invited) Saturday - Light breakfast bar (optional), Cocktail hour snacks, and Wedding dinner Sunday - Light farewell breakfast bar (optional but all are invited) The breakfast bars will likely include things like: - bagels, donuts, fruit, quiche - coffee and beverages We’ll also have some snacks available throughout the weekend. Saturday daytime is perfect for exploring Leavenworth and grabbing lunch in town.

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely there will be! We’ll have a selection of: - alcoholic beverages - non-alcoholic options - soft drinks Please fill out your RSVP survey so we can try to accommodate drink preferences.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors in the amphitheater, and we expect to spend a lot of the weekend outside enjoying the property. Prepare accordingly!

What should I wear to the ceremony?

Think garden party colorful, polished, and comfortable. Garden party attire blends relaxed elegance with outdoor practicality. The goal is to look elevated without feeling overdressed. Is parking available?

Yes! There is plenty of parking available at Tierra Retreat Center.

When can I leave?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will wrap up around 10:00 PM on Saturday. You’re welcome to leave after dinner if you need to, but we’d love to have you stay for the full weekend. Checkout is Sunday by 11:00 AM.

What’s the weather like in Leavenworth in June?

Answer

On average: High: 79°F Low: 47°F But like the Midwest, it can vary. Some years it’s cooler, some years it’s very warm. On average it rains about three days in June. We are currently working with a team of Etsy witches to keep that number as low as possible. ;)

Should I bring layers?

Answer

Yes. Mountain weather can shift quickly, and evenings can cool off. Layers are always a good idea.

Will there be hiking or outdoor activities?

Answer

Yes! There are hiking trails right on the Tierra property if you want to explore. If you're looking for more adventure nearby, check out the "Stay Longer!" page for more ideas.

Should I plan time in Downtown Leavenworth?

Answer

Yes! We recommend exploring Downtown Leavenworth Saturday morning and early afternoon before heading back to Tierra to get ready for the pre ceremony drinks at 4:15pm. The town has great: - Restaurants - Beer Gardens - Shops - Bakeries

Is there a curfew?

Answer

Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM for amplified music. But don’t worry — we’ll make good use of the dance floor before then. Of course, we are big boiz and girls now so they can't make us go to bed!

Answer

Your presence is our present. Truly. We know traveling for a destination wedding takes time, planning, and expense. Having you there means more than enough to us. If you still feel inclined to give a gift, we’ve included registry information on the Registry page.

Can I bring a plus one, kids, or extra guests?

Answer

Short answer: No. Long Answer: Please only bring the people listed on your invitation. We’re planning a small, intentional wedding with our closest loved ones, and space is limited. If you have a concern or special circumstance, feel free to reach out to us and we’ll do our best to help.

Yes! You should have started training months ago! We’re hoping it’s not too late. We’re going to make it official. You’re going to make it a party.
