Who'd have thought chopped chicken could taste so good? Lee and I have gone here several times - it's a solid cheap eat. Bring cash, though there's an ATM a block away.

El Pollo Bronco

The best ice cream in Tulum, hands down. Beats most other places too!

This is a great place to spend the day at the beach, with chairs as well as food and drink service.

Pocna Tulum - Beach resort

This city is ancient - definitely go see the ruins. Insider tip - there is a beach you can swim at the base of the ruins, so bring a towel and swim shorts!

Definitely go for a swim/snorkel in a cenote while in Tulum - they're incredible, and unique to the Yucatan peninsula! Options abound, but this one was great.
