Mexico is a huge, diverse country. The northern border with the US is where the real danger is. The south, where Tulum is, is really a paradise. Plus, the tourist infrastructure is set up really well. Just be safety smart, don't flash cash, and you'll be fine.

I want to buy the guys a gift. What should I get?

Answer

You celebrating our wedding with us is already a great gift - we know it's far, and costs add up, so buy yourself an extra cocktail or an excursion! If you do really still want to give, next up is baby in our household. This can be quite expensive, so contributions to the baby fund will make it that much easier for us!
