Matron of Honor
Kris's workmate-turned-best friend. Kris could not have asked for a better person to help guide her through her first big-girl job. Little by little Kris started to realize how alike they were. It was almost scary, She is convinced that they were supposed to be twins, but Kris will happily have her as one of her best friends instead. Jules has been her constant in her life since 2018 and she could not imagine it any other way. Beware of the trouble these two get into when they are together.
Best Man
Lucas and Ryan have been friends for a long time, and even made up part of the soccer team's unit, sometimes called Coach Byrd's D(efense). Often finding time to hang out online throughout the years, even with life, pets, house problems, and a new baby, their friendship has kept on strong as the advice, compliments, and venting continued. Ryan asked him to be his best man and he gladly accepted. (Fun fact: due to Covid and pure coincidence, Ryan recently also served as Lucas' best man).
Maid of Honor
During Kris's freshman year in high school she got stuck in athletic PE. This meant weight lifting. Luckily for her there was a sophomore equally as shy and awkward as she was in her PE class. The two of them quickly became best friends through their love of animals, plants, and much more. They have been through all of the ups and down of life together. Nothing can keep these two apart.
Groomsman
Whether in school or soccer, Ryan and Zach bonded over their determination and big-brain moments. That doesn't mean that they weren't (and still aren't) above funny Internet pictures or hijinks after one beer too many. Though Zach has been busy whether in the military or as a doctor-in-training, he and Ryan have kept the ball rolling, whether at a local Corn Fest or even just a phone call in the evening.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay and Kris met during orientation for high school. They were introduced through a mutual friend and were forever a pair of meatballs from then on out. Whether it was ditching homeroom to goof around in the halls or a night of trash talking while playing board games, it is always a good time when these two are together.
Groomsman
Justin and Ryan became acquainted through their respective significant others. Since then, they have become tight friends and have shared in their enjoyment of video games, complaining about work, and at various times hanging out and (sometimes regretfully) remaining the more sober ones out of their group of four. Both Ryan and Justin can be quite even-keeled, though their sense of humor is anything but.
Bridesmaid
Mariah and Kris have been friends since 8th grade. They both enjoyed the scene scene (see what I did there). Over the years they have enjoyed many naps at Mariah's house, swimming at the Alexander pool, hikes, delicious trips to Oriental Garden, and they even went to the same university at the same time for a bit.
Groomsman
Though Ryan and Stuart are nearly four years apart in age, Stuart has always been there to support his younger brother, even when he was countless miles away across the United States. Their interests may differ, one hands-on and the other hands-on-a-book, they always find time for a call on the way to work or bond through excessively eating Oreos and talking about their pets.
Bridesmaid
Kris and Meira took a chance as a random roommate pairing freshman year of college and left campus as lifelong friends. Anyone can attest that living in a small room for months with another human doesn't always end well, but for these two it brought them closer. Sure, the trips to Taco Bell, the diner, and the movies helped, but we will just call their friendship destiny. Anytime these two are together you can find them eating Taco Bell, planning to go to a concert, or listening to a fire playlist (usually created by Meira).
Groomsman
It is unclear when Mason and Ryan became friends, but if their memories serve them right, they always end up at Mason's house upstairs on his couch, eating, drinking, talking, and playing games. Whether close by in Illinois or far away in Arizona, they have always kept up their friendship, and Ryan knows Mason is a phone call or text away (unless he sleeps in or goes to bed early, that is).
Officiant
The first one to know about Kris and Ryan's fledgling relationship, Brody has been their friend for a long time, whether through Scholastic Bowl, prom, or free Poptarts before school started. He and Ryan also bonded over their shared love of history and learning. Though life sometimes puts challenges in their way, all three have stayed in touch and Kris and Ryan easily decided that their friend's talent and showmanship would be a perfect fit for officiating their upcoming marriage.
Flower Man
Ryan and Ryan have known each other for a long time and hung out in school and went through Scouts together. Whether keeping in touch through inside jokes, nostalgic computer games, or updates on things going on in life, Ryan is glad to have Ryan as a friend (who, coincidentally, also brews beer he wants to try).
