The girl who all of my friends have sent a photo of their suspicious moles to is also my beautiful, smart and kind sister. On a regular basis, you can find Kara hiking, drinking craft beer or wrapping up her latest WOD with her husband Taylor. More important to her than possibly anything else in the world is her sweet angel, Heidi. The word "sphincter" makes her laugh on command & she makes the best sugar cookies I have ever sampled. I was regularly called "Kara's sister" throughout my public school career, but wouldn't have had it any other way because she is the coolest person I know and had perfect attendance in HS. Dr. Farish is not accepting new patients, only new brewery recommendations.
Erin Montgomery

If you are lucky, you have an Erin in your life. She is a crowd favorite, the coolest aunt of all time, a nervous laugher and a selfless soul who dedicates her time and talent as a BCBA. Be careful or she will give you a full behavioral plan. We met in high school over a common love for Queen and wanting everyone to like us. If you knew me in high school, I did everything in my power to be JUST LIKE ERIN. She also let me drive her car before I was 16, but don't tell our moms. Erin is dating Madeline's brother, so it all feels a bit incestuous, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She also drinks her coffee black which is weird and most likely won't maintain eye-contact with you. #HPND

Madeline and I share a crippling case of extreme empathy and an irrational fear of the vastness of outer space - but we are mostly just really annoying when we are together. Members of her family basically became my 3rd, 4th and 5th roomies while I was at SLU, and didn't make life worse when the Rangers blew the 2011 World Series to the Cards. Don't ask Madeline if she loves her daughter Julianna or her English Bulldog Huey more - things might get awkward. If you need in depth research as it relates to essentially anything, Madeline is your girl. She wields a tennis racket like a light saber and is a Jedi master on the dance floor. #GoBills

Cassie and I went on our first best friend date in August of 2011. We rode her big red moped (RIP Clifford) to the St. Louis Arch, and from there we were the friendship duo with the biggest height difference at SLU (10 whole inches). Cassie would be the first person to 'bow up to someone if I needed it and might be my biggest hype man. We regularly ate hamburger helper, talked about God and took entirely too many naps when we hung out. More than anything, Cassie pours her heart and soul into her faith, her family and all of her long distance friendships. I just love her more than Pickleman's ranch and peppering at Chafeitz.

Kelsey is my all-time favorite soccer teammate that never got back on defense. We used to go to Taco Bueno after HS soccer games on Friday nights, sometimes driving past the homes of boys I had crushes on. Kelsey was a true friend and never passed judgement on me. We hold a deep set grudge against Southlake Carroll, Coppell & Marcus, to name a few. Kelsey is, without a DOUBT, all of the following: most lukewarm when it comes to dogs, least ashamed of her One Direction devotion, a subpar texter, best designer of hand-made polymer clay earrings & all of her friends' BIGGEST champion. Final fact: she was Ryan's biggest fan from day 1 #HPND & #StateOhWait

My world got a little smaller (& way more fun) when Ashley & Grant started dating. Ashley & I take pride in being a nuisance to our significant others who just happen to be best friends. She is the ultimate party planner, part-time mermaid, full time Nurse Practitioner, chief consumer of Chili's Big Mouth Bites & Buck's honorary aunt. In an ideal world, Ashley & I would be stay at home dog moms, but Grant and Ryan are **no fun** and won't let us. She also copied me and got engaged 2 weeks after I did because she is obsessed with me. Don't ask her to fill your prescription or tell her you don't believe in the power of Botox. And DEFINITELY don't ask her how she feels about Aaron Rodgers #AfterPayIsLfe

Lil' J is the best bonus sister anyone could ever wish for. She has a big heart & a sneaky sense of humor that ranks near the top. We share a love for The Bachelor franchise, which is a relief because it can be a polarizing preference. Last summer, I developed a larger admiration (& jealousy) of J when she learned the choreography to a Tik Tok song in about 4 minutes. Perhaps the best thing about her is her retention of words for the super secret 4th round of Fishbowl - it always helps to secure another TEAM GIRL win. She quickly forgave Buck when he took her feet out from under her a while back, so you know she has a heart of gold!! I also copied her entire skin care routine and cannot wait for her FIANCE ETHAN to finally join us on the Christmas card this year <3

Shaun is the queen of contagious giggles and is always down to go to Target. The ONLY good thing that came out of me losing my best friend Erin to Colorado...was the deeper friendship I developed with her sister! Possessing one of the purest hearts I know, Mama Shaun makes me want to go back to first grade just to be in her classroom. She is incapable of lying and only orders Kid's Meals at Chick-Fil-A. Her sweet cherub children are her pride and joy, but possibly one of the best things about Shaun is her ability to dig up extensive details about someone on the internet in 3 minutes or less. Last but not least, Shaun sends the most premium Tik Tok #WholesomeContent. #HPND

Best friends going on 20 years, soccer teammates for about 15 of them, and roommates for 2...so, there isn't much Grant and I don't know about each other's lives at this point. The only thing we don't share is his passion for cycling (I refuse to join him on his daily rides, no matter how hard he sells it). Grant loves watching horror movies with his fiancé Ashley and is the only person who can snuggle Buck into submission. If you need to locate Mr. Carter throughout the evening, find the guy with a Stoli soda near the DJ trying to grab the mic. Please note: we may not be on speaking terms come wedding day depending on how this upcoming Big XII championship game plays out. Hook 'em and OU sucks.

Self proclaimed plant dad and father to Buck's arch nemesis, Penny, my brother (AEKDB) Will is the other dark haired blue-eyed guy who looks more like my twin than his actual twin sister Leslie does. Will knows every word to every Crime Mob song and loves watching shows with subtitles. He has a bit of a reputation for livening up a wedding reception and we hope to see his signature tiger face paint on display as the evening progresses. Will was convinced Kailey lived under a bridge the first few months we dated because she never went home. He welcomed her nonetheless.

James likes to take credit for our relationship since he talked me into playing one more season of soccer that would eventually lead to Kailey picking out my number from the team group text. My mother can agree that James has been somewhat of a bad influence when it comes to nights out. Thankfully we've outgrown the late night walks home with a quick pit stop to Taco Cabana. He likes to spend his free time at Park House and has made Kailey a cornerstone piece of his Risky Quizness trivia team. James is still upset I never visited him in STL while he was at SLU for 4 years, but visited with Kailey the first time she asked. #GoBills He also has never had McDonalds, which might be the most interesting thing about him.

Our crazy Uncle Chuck or Chucky Dealz epitomizes work hard, play hard. He decided to start his own washer boards business and premier tailgating company in college to try to mix business with pleasure. When he isn't hard at work, he will most likely be out on the golf course or at the beach. It is a well known fact that Charles' retirement plan includes living the good life on a private island with a margarita in hand at all times. Charles was the first member of the Pink Taco House that Kailey met. Who knows how everything would have turned out had it not been him.

We found out we both got into UT during our 8th period class and pretty much sealed our fates as lifelong brothers from elementary school to college. Jimmy somehow always ends up with the aux cord by the end of the night and has a playlist for every vibe. He was in the "cool" part of the band in high school and has continued his drumming career by booking part time gigs with his new band in the Austin area. Sometimes Jimmy bets against UT sports so that he feels better if they lose, but that makes him smart, not a wishy washy fan. I am still in the dog house with his wife, Paige, because I mentioned their wedding colors were coincidentally blue and gold to honor our high school alma mater. #GoScotsGo

The guy with the accent is our English friend, Billy. You likely won't be able to understand what he is saying once Braylon gets the music going so feel free to find Will Grimes or James Wimpress to help translate for you. He is an avid Chelsea FC fan and if you want to stay in his good graces, just call it "football". Billy has only been living here in the States for 5 years but after living in Dallas, San Fran, and now New York, he’s probably driven and seen more of the United States than most anyone I know. The only reason he comes back to Texas and mainly why he decided to accept my request to be a groomsman is so he can eat copious amounts of Whataburger.
Clint Whitley

Clint is our Wurst best friend, hailing all the way from New Braunfels, Texas. Fun fact: his high school mascot was a Unicorn, which is fitting the longer you get to know him (...think ~majestic~). Once you meet him, you don't forget him. Known for his mic drops, Clint knows every word to the Narcos theme song we personally think he bears a striking resemblance to Daniel Craig. He has never made his nephew cry, is his mom's favorite son and will without a doubt elbow his way in to catch the bouquet (pictured above).
James Notari

James is the oldest of FOUR brothers and we like to refer to him as our friend from the North. He may have wound up in Austin by mistake from Chicago, but once he found out what being a Texan was all about he decided to stay awhile. He even made it official with a new Texas drivers license by his sophomore year at UT. He usually is out on the road for work, but spent much of his COVID year out of the Windy City and wandered down south (but always on the golf course). While James enjoys the golf course on any given day, his new found passion for scuba diving makes him the world's most interesting man.

Better known as "The Scotty Mitchell Show" to those he went to high school with, Scott loves any excuse to celebrate (*drink*). Thankfully, he has developed a wonderful relationship with my good friend, Tito Beveridge. During his tenure at Tito's Vodka, he has taken it upon himself to supply us with loads of libations for our big day! Scott has embraced the new identity of "Spritzy" over the course of the last two years, becoming the 5th member of the *girls team* with Kailey, Jaclyn, Grace & Ashley. In all seriousness, Scott has always been a partner in crime on the soccer field and a best friend off of it. Until he decided to go to A&M...👎 Thumbs down and pinky up, Spritzy!

Crowd Favorite, Captain of Team Chris and Future Mayor of New Braunfels, Mr. Tysdal has set some lofty goals for his future. Lucky for him, his wife-to-be can handle his antics and keeps a cap on his ambitious appetite. The only thing he cares about more than fiancé, Katie, and pupper, Emma, is his hair. We find this odd considering he is always covering it up with one of his many hats. He even wears one into the office...(something about those Aggies 👎). And no, I didn't make both of my Aggie friends ushers because of some silly old rivalry, but I'm sure they are both just SO THRILLED to welcome us to the SEC soon! Keep an eye out for his pelvic thrust on the dance floor - it is lethal, but we have medical personnel on site.
