Every great love story starts with a little mystery—and ours began in 2018 on what we lovingly call a "half-blind date." Julianna had no idea what Ryan looked like, but he knew exactly who to look for and already knew she was someone special. Their first meeting started off in the corner of Barnes & Noble, bonding over books and the love of storytelling. One coffee turned into two side quests (because neither of us wanted the date to end). After that, we were almost inseparable. Not long after, tired of the long drives between McPherson and Wichita just to spend a few hours together, Ryan made the move to Wichita to be closer. We built a home together, starting with one mischievous cat named Casper—who quickly gained two sisters, Celeste and Charcoal to complete their little family. Over six years, we grew together—through lazy Sundays, midnight movie marathons, spontaneous international trips, and thousands of quiet, ordinary moments that somehow felt extraordinary. Then, on March 10th, 2024, surrounded by lights, magic, and cosplay at the KC Comic Con Ball, Ryan got down on one knee. Julianna said yes—before he could even finish asking. Now, we're turning the page to our greatest adventure yet: forever. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all the people we love most.
