Question

When Can I Check in / Check out

Answer

You are more than welcome to check in at @3:00pm on Friday, 27/11/2026, and check out is at @2:00pm on Sunday, 29/11/2026. This will be part of the RSVP, so make sure you select the correct allocated day you're arriving.

Question

Can I book 1 night accomdation on site

Answer

Unfortunately, you cannot. We have booked the entire property for the weekend, so you will need to pay for two nights' accommodation. You are more than welcome to come for only one night, but you'll need to pay for two to secure the room

Question

Can I Choose my own Cabin

Answer

No, when you book it will then come through to the bride and groom and they will allocate you into cabins

Question

Are children welcome

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, this weekend is strictly adults only. Book babysitters and prepare for a weekend away from the kids with family and friends.

Question

Can I bring our babysitter with us

Answer

You certainly can, but unfortunately, you will need to find off-site accommodation, as the on-site rooms are reserved for wedding guests only.

Question

What is the dress code

Answer

Friday: Casual! We want you to relax and enjoy your time. Saturday morning: Same code as Friday, dress as you please. Saturday Evening: It's time for the lovebirds to tie the knot! Formal / Cocktail attire is required. Sunday: If you can get dressed, wear what you please; clothes would be preferable.

Question

Can I bring my own camera

Answer

Cameras, phones and other recording devices will not be permitted at the ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. It will be an unplugged wedding; we have professional photographers and videographers to do that for you. We don't want to see people on their phones in our wedding video and photos. Outside of the wedding, they are more than welcome; we ask that the venue and ceremony locations not be posted before the wedding.

Question

Can I bring pets

Answer

No, unfortunately, you can't. It's not like our normal camping weekends away. As much as we love your four-legged friends, they will need to stay home for this weekend.

Question

If I have food allergies who do I inform

Answer

Please fill out this information when you RSVP. If anything changes, don't hesitate to contact us so we can resolve it.

Question

Are there Ubers

Answer

Yes, there are Ubers; however, we have been told they can be quite unreliable or have limited availability. Taxis are recommended, and they say pre-booking them is the best way to ensure travel.

Question

What is the Parking situation

Answer

There are 55 parking spaces within the Bush Retreat car park. If this is full upon arrival, we will find you a space within the 100 acres to park your car. The car park is located within the fenced property, so your car will be safe and accessible for the duration of the weekend.

Question

What's on the property

Answer

There are 32 rooms, 20 campsites with a stunning amenities block, a guest lounge, a kitchen, an alfresco area with a bathroom, a swimming pool, and the Boma fire pit area. We will all be able to mingle and enjoy each other's company throughout the weekend.
