Things To Do
Zion National Park
Be sure to check out shuttle information and for closures on the site. During the spring/summer, you're required to ride the shuttle to get to many areas of the park. $35/vehicle, or free with an annual National Parks Pass ($70/year)
Snow Canyon State Park
Dog-friendly, low crowds, many easy trails, and you can walk on petrified dunes in some areas. Utah Residents: $10/vehicle, or $5/vehicle for seniors 65+. Non-Utah Residents: $15/vehicle.
Quail Creek State Park
Beaches, boating, petroglyphs, and a water playground (additional admission for playground). Likely to have the place to yourself on a weekday. Rentals available on-site. $15/vehicle or $10/vehicle for Seniors age 65+. Non-Utah Residents: $25/vehicle.
Sand Hollow State Park
Awesome cliff-jumping, ATV riding on a red sand beach, boating and water sports, red sandstone landscape. Rentals available on-site. Utah Residents: $15/vehicle or $10/vehicle for Seniors age 65+. Non-Utah Residents: $30/vehicle.
Thunder Junction All Abilities Park
Amazing park with splash pad, small train, and tons of play structures. Probably James's favorite park anywhere.
Pioneer Park
Rock climbing with views of downtown, White Dome, Zion National Park, and Arizona can be seen. Slot canyons, hiking trails, and bbq pits.
