Portland, Maine / Cape Elizabeth
Craving a lobster roll or a fresh seafood? Portland is a foodie capital with a ton of culture! There's loads to do in this city - and even more to eat - all by the ocean. Drive a little outside of Portland to Cape Elizabeth for a scenic lighthouse and rocky Maine beaches!
Ogunquit, Maine
One of our favorite places in the seacoast! Ogunquit is a cute and lively beach town with a long stretch of sandy beach and scenic rocky cliffs over the ocean. Here you can find piano bars, drag shows, oyster and wine bars, great surfing, and homes you'll dream of living in in another life. We recommend walking along the Marginal Way and checking out the shops and bites in Perkins Cove!
Sebago Lake State Park
There are plenty of walking trails around Sebago Lake - just by Kingsley Pines! If you'd like a little nature, check out the local area. Be sure to bring bug spray and check for ticks!
Oxbow Beer Garden
Another long-time fave of ours! Oxbow Beer Garden has delicious pizza and beer, and they're just 22 minutes away from Kingsley Pines. Fun fact - this was the only other wedding venue we toured (and loved!)
Good Life Market
A great little food and bev market right down the street from Kingsley Pines! Stock up on all your Maine products, fancy snacks, and local beverages for the weekend!
The Log Yard Dairy Bar
We’ve never actually been here but we drove past on our way to oxbow and said “ice cream!” I think it’s new! Anyway, ice cream about 17 mins away from camp. And we like what they have to say about the importance of a black raspberry creamee.

A little market about 15 mins from Kingsley Pines!
