FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. Tuxes and gowns are absolutely welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Wear something you feel great in!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration (18 and older). We hope this gives you a great excuse for a kid-free weekend getaway in the mountains!

Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs Resort, 3 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, NJ 07419. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can find your seat and settle in before we get started.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be at the Big Sky Pavilion at Grand Cascades Lodge — a gorgeous 6,700 sq. ft. venue with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic mountain views. And before you ask: yes, it is fully air conditioned! You'll be comfortable all night.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 15, 2026. You can RSVP directly through the RSVP page on this website. If you have any trouble, reach out to us and we'll get you sorted.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend staying at Grand Cascades Lodge, where the wedding is taking place. We have a room block with a group rate — use this link to book: https://bit.ly/ElishaAndRyan Important: Our room block will be released to the public on April 15th, so please book before then to guarantee your room at the group rate!

Question

What if Grand Cascades Lodge is sold out or I'm looking for other options?

Answer

There are several alternatives nearby: Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mt. Arlington — About 25 minutes south of the resort off I-80. A solid Marriott option with modern rooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and an on-site restaurant. Great if you're a Marriott Bonvoy member. Address: 800 Route 15 South, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856. Quality Inn near Mountain Creek — About 10 minutes from the resort in Vernon/McAfee. A clean, budget-friendly option starting around $75–$100/night with free breakfast, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. Address: 1983 Route 94, McAfee, NJ 07428. Phone: (973) 827-4666. Airbnb & Vrbo — There are plenty of vacation rentals in the Hamburg and Vernon area, including condos, mountain cabins, and full homes. Many are within 5–15 minutes of the resort. Search "Hamburg, NJ" or "Vernon Township, NJ" on Airbnb or Vrbo for options — some start as low as $100/night and many accommodate groups.

Question

Do I need a car?

Answer

We highly recommend it. Crystal Springs is in rural Sussex County in the mountains of northwest New Jersey. Uber and Lyft are not reliably available in the area. If you're flying in, renting a car at the airport is the way to go. See our Travel page for airport and driving details.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Newark Liberty International (EWR) is your best bet — it's about an hour's drive and has the most flight options. LaGuardia (LGA) is about 1 hour 15 minutes. JFK is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Full details are on our Travel page.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Self-parking at Grand Cascades Lodge is complimentary for hotel guests.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We've got a plan! If the weather doesn't cooperate for the outdoor ceremony, we'll move things indoors. Golf carts will shuttle guests to and from the Big Sky Pavilion and back up for cocktail hour — so no one has to worry about navigating the rain. Either way, the day is happening and it's going to be amazing.

Question

Can I use the resort's pools and spa?

Answer

Absolutely — that's one of the best parts of staying at Grand Cascades Lodge! Hotel guests have access to the Biosphere Pool Complex (a year-round tropical indoor pool paradise), the Vista 180° outdoor infinity pool, and Reflections Spa. Spa appointments book up quickly on weekends, so we recommend reserving yours in advance. You can book spa services by calling 888-534-3870 or through the Crystal Springs website.

Question

What is there to do at the resort?

Answer

So much! Crystal Springs has six golf courses (including Ballyowen, rated the #1 public course in NJ), two full-service spas, multiple pool complexes, a world-renowned wine cellar with complimentary daily tours, and activities like archery, axe throwing, laser clay shooting, rock climbing, hiking, and more. Check out our Things To Do page for the full rundown.

Question

Can I explore the resort's restaurants on my own?

Answer

Yes! The resort has incredible dining options. Crystal Tavern at Grand Cascades Lodge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with stunning mountain views. Restaurant Latour is the resort's fine dining experience with a Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning cellar — reservations required and jackets preferred for men. Springs Bistro serves fantastic Italian. Owen's Pub at Ballyowen Golf Club has Celtic-inspired pub fare with a bagpiper at sunset. Reservations for any restaurant can be made at 855-977-6473 or on the Crystal Springs website.

Question

Can I bring a date / plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you've been given a plus one. If your invitation is addressed to you specifically, we respectfully ask that only those named attend. We wish we could invite everyone!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Head to the RSVP page on this website and follow the prompts. The deadline is April 15, 2026. If you run into any issues, just reach out to us directly.
