I suggest to book flights to arrive on Anguilla (AXA) on Thursday (5/17) The bride and groom will be on island starting (5/14) and departing Anguilla (5/26), but all guests can make their stay as long as they wish. All flights directly to Anguilla will have a stop in Puerto Rico (SJU) to (AXA) Anguilla are supported by Seabourne Airlines. Currently, American Airlines, Delta, and Jet Blue allow for flights to be booked for entire trip from (LAX) to (AXA). Please be mindful that Seabourne does not fly to Anguilla everyday. Princess Juliana Airport (SXM)

Another option is to fly through St Maarten (Dutch) Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) - Famous for its beautiful landing, and blasting people out for a thrill on the beach. Again, the wedding will take place on (5/18). I suggest to book flights to arrive on SXM (5/17) All flights must arrive no later than 4-5pm. It is suggested to arrive and depart mid-day on SXM around 2:30pm (You will need time to complete the travel to/from Anguilla, and the final ferries begin at 8:15am and stop at 7:00pm). Travel before or after this time will be required you to stay the night on St. Maarten. St. Maarten/St. Martin is half Dutch, half French. The Princess Juliana International Airport is located on the Dutch side. By boat, we will ferry to Anguilla and you have two choices: Taxi to Marigot of St. Martin (French) via standard ferry Direct from Airport from St. Maarten (Dutch) via express ferry. ****** I have listed current ferry schedule and AXA->SXM flight info in Photos tab******

Standard Ferry from Marigot, St. Martin

Standard Ferry from French Side: The ferry to Anguilla departs on the French side of St. Martin from the port of Marigot. Once you have collected your luggage, request a taxi to Marigot on (French) St. Martin. The taxi ride is approximately 15 minutes. The taxi is approximately ~$25 for two passengers to ~$50 for 4+ passengers. Then, catch a ferry to Anguilla (British) from Marigot to Blowing Point, Anguilla. The advantage of taking this ferry is the reduced cost: ($5 departure tax + $20 for the ferry + taxi to Marigot) per person. Ferries depart every 45 minutes starting at 8:15am and the last ferry departs at 7:00pm.

Direct Ferry from Airport, St. Maarten

This ferry will be through Calypso Charters (Tel.:264 584 8504 ) must be booked ahead of time and they will plan the ferry departure time depending on your arrival. If you wish to book this option, let us know so we can possibly group guests that are arriving on similar flights. If there is a large group arriving on 5/17, we can arrange a private express charter ($400 for the first 4 passengers and $40 for each additional person. Private airport charters depart at whatever time is reserved by the passengers.) They also offer semi-private scheduled charters that leave at a set time. ($65 per person, $33.00 for children ages 1-11). The only drawback to this option is, depending other passengers on your semi-private charter, you may have to wait for their flight to arrive if they're delayed. Once you have collected your luggage - your boat operator will meet you inside Princess Juliana Airport (right where you step out of Arrivals) and bring you via 1 minute taxi to the pier.

Travelling Home - How to Travel from Anguilla to SXM

Once your wedding trip is completed and you are ready to head home, see below for departure details! Standard ferry rates are $20 per person via standard ferry to Marigot St. Martin (French), plus $25-50 taxi to airport for (2-5 people) and are scheduled every 45 minutes. The taxes to depart Anguilla are shown below: Via Express Ferry direct to airport to St. Maarten (Dutch) - $28 per person Private and express ferry rates and details are similar to what was mentioned for arrivals. Via Ferry to Marigot to St. Martin (French) - $23 per person For flights departing out of the airport between ~2-3pm I suggest to take the 10:30am ferry leaving Anguilla. It may be nice to spend some time and explore Marigot shops and french bakeries. Passengers must arrive at SXM airport at least 2 hours before flight departure time, as check-in, and security can be a lengthy process. If boats aren't your thing - there is a small Anguilla Air Services option for puddle jumper planes from Anguilla to SXM

We can reserve rental cars ahead of time if you plan to drive. The rates are roughly $35 per day for small (4 passenger) economy sized vehicles, and up to $55 per day for larger (5-7 passenger) vans. Drivers licenses on Anguilla are $20 for each driver for the entire stay, and we will be driving on the LEFT. We will have suggested activities for the week - and will be visiting different locations on the island. If you are comfortable driving in a foreign country, this is a cheaper option than taxis.
