We met down in Alabama, a friend in common asked me (Dinorah) to hang out that night, he wanted to take his friend from Michigan (Ryan) out to celebrate his birthday. I ended up going out with them. Ryan and I had a shot of tequila at midnight and I said happy birthday to that cute birthday boy from Michigan without knowing where life was going to take us.

After flight school Ryan and I traveled to Honduras for the first time together, he met my family and friends and eventually at the end of that year I moved to Michigan. We knew we were going to get married someday but he officially popped the question on a beautiful fall day after spending the day at the apple orchard. One thing we agreed on was that our wedding was going to be something small, we were just starting our lives together and the chances of having my family and friends from Honduras were practically impossible so we had a courthouse wedding on October 22nd, 2014. Although quick and simple it was a very special day for us. We've been talking about a bigger celebration ever since then but life happens! the family grew bigger and we had to wait, but 2024 it is! We have been married for 10 years and our sons will get to be part of it. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Roa!!
