What should I pack?

Answer

Since your food and drinks are all taken care of, all you have to worry about is what to wear! I suggest bringing: - Multiple Swimsuits - Travel size sunscreen - Lip balm with SPF - Sun hat - Sunglasses - Pool float - Flip flops - Book for the beach - Charging cables - Insulated cup **Important** Men are required to wear pants and closed toed shoes at the restaurants Good news is if you forget anything there is a general store on site that sells toiletries, sunscreens, medicine and clothes!

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Beach Chic: Maxi dresses, linen suits, slacks, dress shirts (no jackets required), no shorts or jeans please. The ceremony will be on the grass, the reception will be on a deck with wood planks. For the ladies, I recommend either a wedge or chunky heel. Our vision is traditional wedding attire, with a beachy vibe. Everything will be outdoors, so I recommend steering away from thick materials due to Mexico weather and possibly humidity.

How do you get from the airport to the resort?

I have linked our favorite car service on the Hotel & Travel page, Cabo Shuttle Services. We've provided a promo code for you use. The Los Cabos Airport also offers offers taxi services. The hotel is a quick 20 minute drive from the airport.

Where is the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Both the wedding and the reception will be held at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. The ceremony is on the grass and the reception will be next to the beach under the pergolas on a wooden deck. Everything will be outdoors.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES!!! You will need a U.S. Passport that WILL NOT expire for at least 6 months. A valid passport is needed to get into Mexico. You will need a passport book, passport cards will not work since everyone is flying into Los Cabos. IMPORTANT NOTE: The processing time for a passport will take approximately 6-10 weeks from the time of application for routine processing. Expedited service takes 3-6 weeks. Please plan ahead as everyone is required to have a passport to travel to Mexico. Are kids welcome?

Answer

Ryan & Deanna love kids, but the wedding will be adults only. Please note the Secrets Los Cabos resort is any 18 and over resort, for those with adult children you are welcome to bring them to the resort to enjoy a family vacation! They are also welcome to join the wedding celebration once the dancing begins.

Do I have to stay at the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos

Answer

NO, we understand this is your vacation, so you are welcome to stay wherever you decide. However it's highly encouraged as the hotel charges a $170 day pass to be able to attend the wedding, and you will not be able to attend anything outside of the wedding day festivities. Please make sure the couple is aware if you do plan to stay off site.

When should we arrive?

Ryan and Deanna will be hosting a Welcome Cocktail Party on Friday at 4pm, we encourage everyone to arrive Friday in order to take full advantage of your time in this beautiful location. For those arriving Saturday 5/21 (Wedding Day), everyone should be in your seats no later then 4:30pm.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes! We want you to enjoy our wedding as well as your vacation! We understand we are having a destination wedding and that you will be traveling. We want this to be fun for you too!

Is there a group rate for guests?

YES!! The code to use on the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos website is REHAWEDD - to qualify for the group rate you must stay a minimum of 3 nights. Keep in mind all rates include unlimited food & drinks! COVID Test Requirements

Answer

There is no COVID test required to enter Mexico! You will only be required to test on the way home from Mexico back to the US. The resort will schedule an appointment for you upon check-in which they do on the resort property.
