Question

What kind of COVID-19 precautions does Middleburg Barn have in place?

Answer

The barn has installed a UV light air-purifying system in their HVAC. They feel strongly about the fact that this keeps the air in their barn clean. They are requiring us to sit 6-8 guests at a table, rather than 10 (unless the table consists of immediate family, close friends, bridal party). They are NOT requiring masks but we will be providing some disposable masks for those who feel more comfortable wearing them! Feel free to bring your own mask as well. We will also be providing hand sanitizer to our guests! For any other questions regarding this topic, feel free to contact me (Chelsey) and I will gladly talk things out with you!

Are there transportation services to and from the Westin Hotel and Middleburg Barn?

Answer

YES! There will be. Please specify how many seats you need reserved when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I be ready for the shuttle bus to pick me up at Westin Hotel? And what time will the shuttle bus be leaving Middleburg Barn after the reception?

Answer

The shuttle buses will be at the hotel to pick up guests starting at 2:45-3:15pm to take to Middleburg Barn. There will be an early shuttle bus at 9:00pm to pick up guests from the reception. The last buses will be leaving the reception at 10:45/11:00pm to take guests back to the Westin Hotel.

Will I have to worry about a new hotel reservation?

Answer

If you booked a hotel room through our original hotel block - your room at the Westin will be booked for you! If you did not book through our hotel block - you will be responsible to book a new room at the Westin. Please contact Jennifer Stone (MOG) for any issues or questions!

Does the hotel offer early check-in?

Answer

I know that the current check-in time is 4:00pm...however we are working on getting the hotel to allow for early check-in as the wedding ceremony will begin at 4:00pm! Stay tuned.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love kids, we want to be fair when inviting them! So, we are only inviting kids if they are in either one of our immediate families.

Question

Can I make a special request regarding a food allergy/preference?

Answer

Yes, of course! In our invitation RSVP's we have a section where you can specify your allergy or food preference (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, etc.)
