Beattyville Country Club
The public 9-hole Beattyville Country Club, built in 1965, sits on the outskirts of historic Beattyville, Kentucky – just south of Red River Gorge. With the course’s unique design, it can challenge even the best golfers, while offering you the most enjoyable round of golf in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. Beattyville Country Club features all the hallmarks of Kentucky golf with a par of 68.
Natural Bridge State Resort Park
Home to a stunning natural sandstone arch that stretches 78 feet and sits 65 feet above the ground, this park offers hiking trails, scenic views, and opportunities for rock climbing and picnicking. Fishing, swimming, camping, canoeing, mini golf, kayaking, riding the skylift, and much more are offered here!
Cave Run Lake
A popular spot for boating, fishing, swimming, and picnicking, surrounded by the scenic Daniel Boone National Forest. Pontoon rentals are available at their marina! Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, camping, and more are also available here!

Red River Gorge Ziplines

Chimney Top Rock Trailhead
Discover this 0.7-mile out-and-back trail near Pine Ridge, Kentucky. Generally considered an easy hike, it takes an average of 18 min to complete. This trail offers a short hike leading to a stunning overlook of the Red River Gorge. It's an excellent spot for photography and taking in panoramic views of the surrounding cliffs and forested valleys. This trail is also very close to others such as the Half Moon Rock and the Princess Arch trails!
Creation Falls
A picturesque waterfall nestled within the Red River Gorge area, accessible via a moderate hike. The serene setting makes it a favorite for nature lovers and photographers. The cool water and shaded easy hiking path make it a destination for any family with young kids. Pro tip, pack extra clothes or a swimsuit as children always find their way across the sandstone beach into the clear water. They will also get to see Rock Bridge Arch that spans over top of the entire creek just around the corner from the falls.

Cable's Riding Stables
Family owned and operated, Cable's Riding Stables offers fun for all ages. Ride some beautiful horses in the stunning Natural Bridge State Park/Red River Gorge area. Guided horseback tours are 45 minutes to an hour long and offer plenty of scenic beauty.
