Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at the open-air chapel at Sunset Ridge Farm Events in Wellington, Kentucky, on September 6, 2025 at 4:45. The reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at the same venue both of which are covered areas sheltered from the weather.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly invite our guests to join us in celebrating with a touch of elegance. We encourage wearing ANY pastel, wildflower, or floral designs for the occasion, but your presence is what matters most!

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, an RSVP is required for everyone. It is essential in planning for the ceremony and reception meals. If we do not get an RSVP back by August 18th, it will be marked a "no". We need this so we can have an accurate head count for the venue and cater. Once we have given the venue and cater a head count, we will not be able to add any additional guest. So, please RSVP on time, we want to make sure we have everybody we love there to experience this special day with us.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking, shuttling, and seating.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking on-site at Sunset Ridge Farm Events. Please follow the signs and attendants' directions upon arrival. The venue will have shuttle buses to and from the ceremony site!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please pay attention to your invitation and RSVP to make sure that we have a correct head count! If they're not listed, please reach out!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity within the venue, the guest list is limited to those names stated on the invitation/RSVP section of the website. If you have any questions, we will be more than happy to answer and likely accommodate! Just please reach out first!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to take pictures for our wedding! During the ceremony we are asking that you try to refrain from being on your phone so you may be present in the moment, but we gladly encourage you to take lots of pictures during the reception!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be alcohol available at the reception for those who would like. It will be free of charge for those 21 and over! There will be wine available, beer, and a mixed drink! We do ask that those who are drinking, PLEASE drink responsibly and plan ahead for the mountain roads!

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having Italian for dinner during the reception including bread and oil, salad choices, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo, and buffalo chicken mac-and-cheese. We will also have charcuterie cups, fruit cups, and veggie cups available during the cocktail hour portion! We will have dessert following dinner!

How do I RSVP?

There should be a tab on this website! It will ask you the names of those included in your party! If you have any problems or feel we missed someone, please reach out!

Are there any accommodations for guests with disabilities?

Yes! Our venue is fully handicap accessible! They have a shuttle service as well as the venue itself is fully equipped!

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend using GPS or a map app for directions. The best thing to enter into your GPS is Sunset Ridge Farm Weddings & Events on any app and it will bring you straight here. If you enter the address it is 3363 Whites Branch Road, Wellington, Ky 40387, your GPS will bring you straight here if you are using google maps, if you use apple maps, it will stop you about 2.5 miles before you reach the property. Please note that the venue is located on mountain roads; drive safely and plan accordingly.

Is there a place to store gifts?

Answer

Yes, a designated area will be available for gifts.

Are there any local attractions to visit?

Answer

Yes, Wellington and the surrounding areas offer several attractions. Please check our Things To Do page for recommendations.

What if I am running late to the ceremony?

Answer

Please park in the designated parking area and you will be transported to the chapel, if the bride has not already made her way to the chapel. If she is already gone over to the chapel, you will have to be dropped off at the barn where the reception will take place and wait there.
