This ceremony is a small gathering for our closest family and friends. This is a pre-wedding ceremony which is performed to remove all the obstacles and bring happiness and prosperity into the lives of the couple. As it is believed that the stars and the planets have a great influence on our lives, this pooja is performed to ensure that the "Navagrah" or 9 planets are aligned for both the bride and the groom in order to live a happy life together. Like the name suggests, Grah means the house and Shanti means peace, thus it means the peace of the house.

Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the Bride & Groom before the big day. There will be a Henna Artist, Dancing, Hors D'oeuvres, and Drinks! Please note: We highly encourage taking a local taxi ($6-8 max) or walking if you're close enough to the venue. If you plan to drive to this location or car-pool, there is a $15 parking fee per vehicle. This can be paid online at any time or in-person if you arrive prior to 5pm. Wedding Ceremony

Formal Attire
Please arrive to Canmore Ranch by 10:45AM 11:00AM: Baraat (celebratory wedding procession where all guests attending escort the groom, who is traditionally on horseback, to the site of the wedding) & YES, Ryan will be on a Horse! 11:30 AM - 1:00PM: Wedding Ceremony (This will be recited in Sanskrit and also translated in English for all guests). 1:15pm - 2:00pm: Light Lunch provided in the Ranch Gazebo. 2:00pm: Vidaai "Formal Goodbye" to the Bride & Groom. It is a form of a farewell ceremony organized by the family of the bride to officially bid farewell to their daughter as she leaves for her marital home. Bring your tissues! ** In the event that Mother Nature decides to take a turn, we will host this ceremony at the Cornerstone Theater. Times will remain the same. We will update this wedding website the morning of for any changes!
